ABOUT HyP
A group of young people set up HyP (Hyped Youth Panel) to give service users a chance to have their voices heard. The group aims to:
- Provide a friendly and informal for young people to have a voice and learn new skills.
- Offer advice and support to cover a wide variety of issues affecting service users.
- Support Hyped by letting service users have a say in what happens in their life within Hyped.
- Run events and activities that improve service user interaction with HyP, SURF, Hyped and BCHA.
HyP members have organised a number of events and taken part in video blogging and mystery shopping (where service users test how we respond to their enquiries). Members have also been involved with recruitment of Hyped staff – and shared their experiences to influence how we run One Foot Forward, our supported accommodation project in Oxford.
