Referrals can be made through Bournemouth Housing Solutions 01202 451467 - to be eligible for this service you must be:-
- a single young person in need of accommodation and/or support
- age 16-21
- willing to engage with support
- have a local connection to Bournemouth
- willing to sign up to a licence agreement
About the accommodation:
10 Prince of Wales provides independent housing for four young people. It is ideally suited to young people who are ready to move on from supported accommodation.
The house includes four fully furnished bedrooms with en-suite facilities and a communal kitchen and laundry.
Residents are expected to cook for themselves. Staff visit the house a few hours a week to provide weekly key work sessions.
We don’t just provide somewhere safe to live. We aim to enable young people to take control of their own lives and move towards independent living. This is achieved through weekly one-to-one sessions with support workers and less formal activities. You can find out more about our approach in Beyond Accommodation.
